Q.  If 489XY is divisible by 3,7&11. Find X&Y

Solution:-

First step

Multiply:-   3 × 7 × 11

                => 21×11 = 231

Second step

Let us consider the maximum no. in place of                X &Y 

X=9  & Y= 9

After putting this value of X&Y

Number:- 48999

Now, 

Third step

Divide 48999 by 231

After division, the remainder will be 27

Fourth step

48999-27 = 48972

 X= 7 & Y= 2  ✔✔
